Job Summary
This role is responsible for contributing to the global employee relations framework evolution, including communication and case studies. The position delivers employee communications, supports performance management, provides expert Employee Relations (ER) consultation, and ensures compliance guidance. It involves developing training, collaborating with stakeholders, and representing the organization in external cases across all HP-affiliated countries in the region.
Note: The incumbent must work from their designated HP office for a minimum of three days per week.
Responsibilities

Investigations & Closure:
- Manages and leads medium to high-complexity investigations, partners with stakeholders, and ensures timely resolution.
- Contributes to knowledge management of ER and related processes.

Disciplinary & Policy Work:
- Develops disciplinary recommendations, risk assessments, and reporting.
- Ensures disciplinary policies, procedures, practices, and documentation remain up to date.

Case Analysis & Global Framework:
- Examines case studies and contributes to evolving the global employee relations framework, including programs, policies, procedures, and system enhancements.

Employee Communication & Engagement:
- Develops and delivers employee communications on talent management initiatives, policies, and programs.
- Ensures employees are informed about changes, updates, and relevant ER/talent management practices.

Performance Management Support:
- Collaborates with HR, managers, and supervisors to provide consultation, guidance, and support on performance reviews, improvement plans, and feedback conversations.

Expert Consultation & Compliance:
- Acts as a go-to ER consultant for complex HR escalations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and provides guidance to management and employees.

Training & Coaching:
- Develops and delivers training programs on topics such as diversity & inclusion, conflict resolution, communication skills, and workplace conduct.
- Offers coaching and best-practice guidance on ER and employee communication techniques.

Case Representation & External Liaison:
- Partners with employment law, integrity councils, and HR in reviewing case findings and HR recommendations.
- Represents the organization in tribunal, mediation, and arbitration cases.
- Supports management of relationships with employee representative groups (work councils, unions, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Recommended:
- Four-year or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related discipline—OR commensurate work experience.
- Prefer 7–10 years of experience in:
- Employee Relations
- HR Generalist roles
- HR Complaints
- Labor Relations
- Employment & Labor Law
- Preferred Certifications:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) (SHRM)
- SHRM-CP or equivalent
