About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and internationally minded Global Engagement Coordinator to provide administrative and logistical support to the GEO in delivering the University’s global ambitions. This critical role will ensure smooth coordination across:
- Partnership development and approval processes
- Student mobility programmes
- Summer school logistics
- Engagement with international stakeholders (international visits, committees, and databases)
- Market research and external partnerships

Key Responsibilities
The Global Engagement Coordinator will:
- Coordinate summer school activities, ensuring marketing, communications, and participant logistics align with deadlines.
- Implement partnership databases and streamline approval processes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and organise GEO teams (Partnerships, Student Mobility, Alumni & Development) for committees, visits, and events.
- Arrange and support international visits (inbound/outbound) for students, staff, and partnerships.
- Conduct market research and liaise proactively with external organisations and international partners.
- Collate and produce reports, analysing data to inform strategy.
- Troubleshoot administrative and logistical challenges, demonstrating flexibility and diplomacy.
Requirements & Essentials
- Substantial administrative or coordination experience in academic or international engagement environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, project timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience managing databases.
- A First degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging with diverse international stakeholders.
- Advanced attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Diplomatic and flexible approach to conflicting demands and cultural Nuances.
