About the Company
Ecoveritas is a leading Packaging Data consultancy. Based in Manchester/remotely, the focus of our work involves Global territories across several market sectors specialising in data collection and analysis services for EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), including performing calculations and submissions globally for Packaging Waste, WEEE and Batteries.
Our specialists provide a range of tools and expertise to brands and retailers to efficiently minimise the environmental impact and maximise the effectiveness of their packaging. With strong knowledge and experience of Extended Producer Responsibility, the global packaging industry and in support of a more robust circular economy, the Ecoveritas team offers data collection and analysis services, as well as compliance, packaging consultancy and advice.
Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for working on various tasks including contacting global compliance schemes, coordinating client registrations, calculating compliance submissions and contributing to the delivery of complex clients.

It is expected that a Compliance Analyst will develop skills to progress within the business. The successful candidate would show good organisational and communication skills, great customer service and be comfortable manipulating data and working in spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
- Support in the registration and data submission with global compliance schemes
- Contact global compliance schemes and authorities to obtain answers to technical queries
- Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of international EPR regulations
- Responsible for ensuring that quality and accuracy are maintained in project work and support provided
- Assisting with all aspects of projects including reporting, data requests, mailout, QA, calculations, reports and client meetings under the guidance of senior staff.
- Contribute towards a supportive, positive and energetic working environment
- Support the company mission and objectives along with other duties which may arise

Essential Criteria
- A strong team player and comfortable working independently
- Highly numerate; be confident and enjoy working with data
- Logical clear thinker and able to think about materiality with the ability to work carefully and an excellent eye for detail
- Ability to understand and interpret regulatory texts
- Good written and verbal customer service
- Ability to prioritise workload and adhere to deadlines
- Confident using all MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel
- Confident liaising with external businesses via phone, email and in face-to-face meetings
- Entitlement to work in the UK
