Citi is looking for a Global Equities Business Execution Support and New Business Execution Assistant Vice President

Citi is looking for a Global Equities Business Execution Support and New Business Execution Assistant Vice President to join a newly established and high-impact team within the Equities COO function, based in Belfast. In this role, you will support all product execution teams as well as new business activities across Global Equities.

The Assistant Vice President will be instrumental in driving efficiencies through the centralization of key administrative and operational activities, directly supporting sales and trading desks, and developing deep equity product expertise. The role serves as a single global point of contact for Originators within the NAC process, ensuring extensive 1LOD/2LOD engagement, established best practices, robust governance, and transparent management information. Reporting to the Equities Business Execution Team this position offers genuine breadth of exposure across the Equities business and a clear opportunity for career growth within a critical and expanding team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Product and Policy List administration, including processing new requests, monitoring and remediating breaches, conducting annual reviews, and coordinating with Risk teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate centralised third-party onboarding activities, including new venue onboarding, third-party risk assessments, periodic attestations, and licensing renewals, escalating complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Administer Trade Venue Inventory records, supporting exchange and broker logging activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date data across the platform.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of firm accounts, nodes, and system mapping tables across equity risk and position management systems to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy.
  • Support global headcount management across the Equities COO team, maintaining accurate tracking and reporting across all geographies.
  • Perform monthly reviews of regulatory metrics exceptions, identifying anomalies and escalating items requiring further review in line with Volcker Rule obligations.
  • Track and monitor client settlement adherence on a quarterly basis in line with FINRA Rule requirements, identifying non-compliant clients and coordinating internal escalation and outreach.
  • Manage desk-level projects and business initiatives, coordinating across teams and seniority levels to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
