About the Role
The Equity & Innovation Manager is a critical role on the CBIA Performance & Effectiveness Team. You will report to the Brand & Expert Director and be responsible for:
- The management of our Brand Equity Program (BPS)
- Innovation Best Practices and Capability

Responsibilities

Project Identification & Strategy Support:
- Support the Global Brand & Expert Director to pinpoint global insight priorities for brand equity and innovation development within CBIA.
- Hypothesis, identify, and prioritise projects to enhance effectiveness in Innovation Development covering areas like concept claim, volumetric analysis, etc.

Methodology & Analysis:
- Define and execute rigorous pilot methods and analytical approaches.
- Leverage insights and scale pilots appropriately to gather data points for future investment models.
- Work collaboratively with agency partners, Category teams, and CBIA organization units (OUs) to embed best practices.

Brand Equity Program Management:
- Lead the Global Equity Program, ensuring robust data quality and coverage.
- Collaborate with external agency partners to support these initiatives.

In-depth Analytics & Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth analysis at a global level, focusing on brand equity performance data; manage complex datasets.
- Achieve granular insights and prepare reports ready for executive-level consumption that influence strategic recommendations.

Ad-hoc Project Management:
- Oversee day-to-day interactions with external service providers for data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.

Business Partnership & Growth Development:
- Act as the business partner for category brand teams, developing deep, enduring insights that enhance brand equity and innovation effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Category and CBIA teams, sharing learnings to tackle growth challenges and contributing to the future strategic direction.

Feedback Management & Continuous Iteration:
- Proactively seek feedback from global and organizational units teams regarding insights provided to maintain relevance and trust and iteratively improve insights.

Supplier Management & Contract Negotiations:
- Manage approved suppliers while negotiating contracts in partnership with Procurement.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Strong business acumen, with a proven history of translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations with measurable business value.
- Experience in leading multi-country projects, sharp quantitative research design, and applying analytical techniques to business problem-solving.
- Experience independently managing and executing analytical projects from start to finish, attaining accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to global standards.
- Fluency with operating effectively in a highly matrixed organisational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diverse cultural settings or working within a multicultural work environment.
- Familiarity with exercising statistical software such as SPSS, R, Python or data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Background in Consumer Health or FMCG, with a specific focus on brand or innovation analytics.
- Be self-motivated, capable of anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and driving initiatives ahead without constant supervision.
