Position Overview
The Global Events & GTM Marketing Manager owns the end-to-end strategy and execution of events and go-to-market programs that directly drive MSP acquisition and revenue growth. This role is accountable for turning event investment into measurable pipeline, from owned flagship events (SPHERE, Cybertruck) to third-party industry events and partner-facing activations.
The role sits at the intersection of go-to-market, sales, and brand activation, with a clear focus on building and accelerating pipeline through event-led GTM motions. You work closely with all marketing teams to ensure messaging alignment, but your primary output is commercial: engaged MSP prospects, sourced pipeline, and influenced ARR.
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded marketer who understands the MSP growth model, knows how to build event programs that convert, and can operate with precision at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Event strategy & execution: Own the full global event calendar, from strategic planning through on-site execution and post-event follow-up. Drive event concepts, audience targeting, and experience design with MSP acquisition and revenue growth in mind.
- Pipeline & revenue focus: Build every event and GTM program around a clear revenue thesis. Define target audience segments, set pipeline targets per event, and work with sales to ensure tight pre- and post-event follow-through.
- Cross-functional orchestration: Align with go-to-market teams and product marketing to ensure events are integrated into broader GTM motions, not standalone activations. Own the handoff between marketing-sourced leads and sales follow-up.
- Vendor & budget management: Manage agency, production, and event vendor relationships with clear SLAs and budget accountability. Deliver on time and within budget without compromising quality or commercial impact.
- Performance & optimisation: Track event ROI rigorously. Use pipeline contribution, attendance quality, and conversion data to evaluate what works and continuously sharpen the program mix.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
