Location: United Kingdom (London preferred)
Role Purpose
The Global Financial Controller is responsible for leading all aspects of Sinclair’s global accounting, financial control, statutory reporting, consolidation, audit, and governance across all legal entities.
The role plays a critical leadership position in strengthening financial governance, enhancing reporting quality, supporting ERP and finance transformation initiatives, and building a scalable, standardised finance operating model across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global accounting and financial control activities across all regions, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all legal entities.
- Oversee the end-to-end consolidation and reporting processes.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting, working closely with FP&A and business finance teams.
- Lead all statutory reporting and audit activities across the Group.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and local finance teams globally.
- Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and financial integrity across the organisation.
- Act as the Group subject matter expert for complex accounting matters.
- Act as the Finance lead for accounting, controls, and data integrity within transformation initiatives.
- Ensure strong financial governance is embedded within all system and transformation initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred; ACCA, CPA or equivalent also considered)
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience
- Significant experience in financial control and accounting leadership
- Extensive experience managing external audits
- Experience overseeing multiple international legal entities
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry experience

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior finance leader with deep technical accounting expertise and strong operational experience within a complex, multinational manufacturing environment.
They will be comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels, capable of strengthening financial governance, challenging assumptions, and driving transformation across systems, processes, and teams.
This role is positioned as a key succession pipeline toward future VP Finance or CFO-level leadership within the Group.
