GLOBAL GOVERNANCE & STANDARDS MANAGER

Interim Assignment | Outside IR35 | Remote with Occasional International Travel

Help shape governance across a global organisation.

We're delighted to be partnering exclusively with a large international B2C, multi-site organisation on a newly created interim appointment forming part of a significant global governance transformation programme.

Operating across multiple countries, the organisation is developing a consistent global governance framework and is seeking an experienced Governance & Standards professional to lead the design and implementation of global standards, policies and governance processes.

Given the international scope of this assignment, we're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have successfully designed and implemented governance frameworks across multiple countries and jurisdictions within large, complex organisations.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple regions, you'll develop global policies, standards, operating procedures and governance frameworks that support consistency, accountability and operational excellence while recognising regional requirements and cultural differences.

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Sector experience is less important than the ability to deliver governance transformation across an international organisation. Safeguarding experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
