WHERE YOU SIT
As our Global Head of Accounts Payable Transformation, you’ll be part of the Financial Control team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Director of Financial Control & Reporting. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
Dr. Martens is transforming its Accounts Payable operating model from a regionally managed operation to a single globally governed operating model. The Global Head of Accounts Payable Transformation will lead the design and implementation of this new model, establishing the operating framework, governance, processes, controls and organisational design required to successfully transition to a centralised global Accounts Payable function.
The role will bring together existing regional Accounts Payable activities into a consistent global operating model that improves supplier experience, strengthens financial control and delivers scalable, efficient transaction processing.
This is a transformation leadership role focused on building the future Accounts Payable function. Success will be measured by creating a sustainable operating model that can transition seamlessly into Business as Usual at the end of the transformation programme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
