Global Head of Business Development

Speciality: Multinational Financial Services Company (Online Trading) Location: Remote, EMEA Focus Employment Type: Full-time (Under SLA)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Head of Business Development to lead and expand Introducing Broker (IB) relationships across key international markets. This role revolves around:

  • Driving revenue growth
  • Strengthening strategic partnerships
  • Supporting long-term expansion within financial services and fintech
  • Combining hands-on business development with senior leadership responsibilities, with representation at industry events and high-level partner discussions

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a focused IB and strategic partnership strategy
  • Identify, engage, and foster long-term high-value relationships with Introducing Brokers across multiple regions
  • Negotiate, onboard, and manage IB agreements and contracts efficiently
  • Monitor partner performance, establish KPIs, and drive continuous revenue improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to tailor partnership solutions
  • Assess new market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and propose expansion strategies
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing business development & IB management team
  • Provide strategic reporting to senior management on pipelines, market trends, and expansion progress
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance across all key operating jurisdictions

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Fluent English (C1 level) – both written and spoken (native or near-native proficiency)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in:
    • Business development or IB management
    • Client relationship roles within financial services, fintech, trading platforms, or brokerage environments
  • Proven expertise in managing and growing IB networks
  • Ability to lead and scale international multi-location teams
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading products, including FX, CFDs, equities, and derivatives
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills (with experience working with senior decision-makers)
  • Demonstrated success in delivering measurable growth through strategic partnerships
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel internationally and manage across multiple time zones
