The Global Head of Client Solutioning & Solution Architect
The Global Head of Client Solutioning & Solution Architect has two distinct but interrelated purposes:
Head of Client Solutioning
The Head of Client Solutioning works closely with the Sales Function to identify client needs, respond to clients' requests for proposal, gather requirements, provide design concepts, develop integrations or interfaces around Traydstream products vis-à-vis client environment, and ensure successful implementation with expected outcomes.
Role Description:
The Head of Client Solutioning leads the Client Solutioning Team and works with clients in response to RFP/RFI, considering requirement-fit, budget, timeline, and resolution of client’s pain points as key factors. The role involves designing, delivering, and implementing practical integration to Traydstream suite of products. The responsibilities include:
- Leading and engaging the wider client team as a technical advisor to analyse current operational workflow/processes/procedures, identify problem areas, and understand constraints or challenges while providing potential solutions.
- Creating solutions and client pitches to support the successful conclusion of RFP/RFI or bids in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Client Experience Team, Technology/Product teams to ideate, design, and develop solutions to implementation.
- Driving and supporting the solution implementation team during the delivery phase and resolving challenges encountered during this phase.
- Liaising between clients and Traydstream internal teams, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and client requirements.
- Supporting Sales and Client Experience Team in consultative discussions with clients about appropriate Technological or AI/ML solutions.
- Attending/Speaking at industry seminars, conferences, etc., to stay informed about developments, trends, and best practices in the industry and research new approaches to solutions.
Head of Solution Architecture
The Head of Solution Architecture works within the Product and Technology function and is responsible for the end-to-end solution architecture for major platform initiatives, ensuring they are scalable, secure, compliant, and operationally excellent across SaaS, private cloud, and on-prem deployments:

- Design and evolve our microservices and event-driven backbone to support high-volume and performance trade finance workflows.
- Support the introduction and scaling of agentic AI patterns: autonomous agents, LLM orchestration layers, human-in-the-loop controls, and integration with core platform services.
- Produce clear, actionable architectural artefacts (ADRs, sequence diagrams, data models, deployment views, runbooks) that accelerate delivery and reduce production incidents.
- Act as a force multiplier for the engineering organisation: mentor seniors, upskill teams on modern patterns, and raise the overall quality bar.
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure solutions directly address client and regulatory needs while maintaining velocity.
- With a track record of pragmatic trade-offs ensure performance vs cost, innovation vs compliance, speed vs stability are accounted for.
- Work with CPTO on technology strategy, roadmap sequencing, and technical debt repayment plans.
- Ensure every solution meets the security, compliance, and performance bar expected by Tier-1 banking clients.

Requirements:
- Candidates should possess a strong academic background, preferably a Bachelor’s degree or higher from recognized universities or institutions.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience is required, ideally within International Trade/Commodity corporations, Transaction Banking, Trade/Corporate/Commercial/SME Banks, or relevant Financial Institutions.
- At least 10 years of experience in people leadership, with a preference for global or regional experience.
- Possession of trade certifications such as CDCS, ICC, UN/UCP-related qualifications, or technical certifications such as TOGAF, CAMS, Data, AI, ML, PMP/ITPM, Scrum Master would be advantageous.
- Strong team leadership capabilities, with the ability to unify a diverse team and deeply appreciate differences across global locations, cultures, and human resource behaviours.
- Proficiency in understanding and conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in solution/technical architecture with a background in software engineering experience having personally designed, built, and operated complex systems end-to-end.
- Proven experience designing and delivering SaaS platforms alongside private cloud/sovereign cloud and on-prem solutions for regulated financial institutions.
- Significant experience in applying Big Data Management, AI, and ML within Enterprise Architecture solutions.
- Hands-on with agentic/autonomous agent design patterns, LLM orchestration, tool-calling frameworks, and responsible AI governance (bias, auditability, human oversight).
- Strong knowledge of containerisation (Docker), Kubernetes (or equivalent), CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, etc.), and observability stacks.
- Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL data architectures, including trade/finance domain models.
- Proven track record in analytical skills, problem-solving, resourcefulness in developing innovative solutions, and managing multiple requests or projects concurrently while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in major international languages, such as Mandarin, Japanese, French, or Spanish would be advantageous.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service and cultivating long-term relationships.
- Dedication to collaboration and effective work within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, adapting to changing client needs, particularly within the Banking/FIs and Trade Domain.
- Demonstrated flexibility in accommodating dynamic work schedules, and global work demands is required and a key requirement for the role given that our existing and potential clients are spread across different parts of the world.
