The role: The Global Head of Football Partnerships will define and lead Genius Sports’ global football strategy, driving the development and execution of high-impact partnerships across the full football ecosystem, including leagues, federations, clubs, rights holders, as well as their media partners, sponsors, and commercial stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this enterprise-level role is responsible for accelerating commercial growth by leveraging Genius’ technology, data, and distribution capabilities. This role will expand Genius’ position as a strategic partner not only to the sport itself but to the wider football ecosystem, unlocking new rights, enhancing media and sponsorship value, and creating integrated commercial opportunities that deepen fan engagement at scale.

What You'll Do: Define and execute a global football strategy to secure and grow partnerships with leagues, federations, and clubs. Drive revenue growth through new business development, partnerships, and innovative monetization strategies Expand and optimize media and data driven inventory across football properties to maximize commercial value Cultivate and deepen relationships with key stakeholders across the global football ecosystem, ensuring long-term alignment and value creation. Lead and develop a high-performing global team. Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, product, and marketing teams to deliver integrated partnership solutions Identify, negotiate, and secure rights agreements that align with the company’s commercial objectives Shape strategy through deep insight into market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities across global football

What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in the sports industry, with deep expertise in global football Strong track record in rights acquisition, partnerships, and revenue generation Experience leading senior, globally distributed teams in a high growth or complex environment Established network within global football (clubs, leagues, federations) Strong commercial acumen with exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and delivery
