Global Head of Internal Audit
London | Hybrid | European Travel | £90,000 + Benefits
We're looking for a bright, ambitious and people-focused auditor who wants more than a traditional audit role.
If you enjoy travelling, building relationships, understanding how businesses really work and adding genuine commercial value, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're partnering with a growing, PE-backed international engineering and project services business to appoint their Global Head of Internal Audit.
Whilst this is a Head of role, we're very happy to consider someone ready to step into their first global leadership position. Attitude, ambition and personality are just as important as experience. This isn't about ticking boxes.
It's about partnering with the business, identifying opportunities, strengthening controls and helping the organisation continue to grow.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you'll work closely with the Board and Executive Team, travelling across Europe to understand the business, build relationships and influence positive change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
