Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
What You’ll Do
Define and lead Humanoid’s end-to-end manufacturing strategy from low-volume prototyping to scalable global production. Build and manage a high-performance manufacturing team, including production, quality, and operations personnel. Lead the planning and execution of our first manufacturing facility, including site selection, layout design, and equipment procurement. Develop capacity plans aligned with business objectives, NPI timelines, and long-term demand forecasts. Establish world-class manufacturing processes and systems focused on automation, lean production, and precision assembly. Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting efficiency, quality, cost, and throughput. Implement manufacturing KPIs and process control systems to track performance and maintain operational excellence. Collaborate closely with R&D, hardware engineering, and product design teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and smooth NPI transitions. Work with supply chain, procurement, and finance to ensure alignment across sourcing, cost control, and production readiness. Act as a strategic voice in product development, providing input on design tradeoffs and factory feasibility. Establish and oversee rigorous quality systems and regulatory compliance protocols across all manufacturing activities. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve production issues swiftly and sustainably. Ensure manufacturing meets relevant safety and certification standards (e.g., ISO, CE, UL).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
