Global Head of Marketplaces
Salary: £80-105k (including performance-related bonus) + management incentive plan Location & Working Model: Remote with monthly/bi-monthly visits to the Netherlands Key Role Feature: Full ownership of a global marketplace P&L with international scope

About the Role
Our client is a highly ambitious, super fast-paced consumer brand with a strong global presence across major eCommerce marketplaces. With a focus on rapid expansion, this is a rare opportunity to join a business that combines entrepreneurial agility with global ambition, built on innovation, ownership, and results.
The Global Head of Marketplaces will play a pivotal role in shaping future growth, driving strategic initiatives across multiple regions, and building scalable processes to support long-term success.

Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Own and drive the global marketplace P&L, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion
- Develop and execute marketplace strategies across critical channels, including:
- Amazon
- Bol (TikTok Shop & other emerging platforms)
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including:
- Advertising
- Content
- Commerce
- Operations
- Deliver quarterly and monthly trading plans, aligning with major retail events, seasonal opportunities, and category-specific growth strategies
- Optimise forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management
- Work closely with senior leadership to translate growth targets into actionable trading plans, ensuring operational alignment

Essential Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven leadership in marketplace operations with specialised Amazon experience – this role demands real impact and measurable success. We’re looking for game-changers who can:
- Showcase concrete achievements from past roles
- Explain how they delivered results and why
- Thrive in high-paced, high-impact environments
- Strong strategic mindset, balancing high-level vision with detailed commercial oversight
- Deep understanding of:
- Trading calendars
- Forecasting methodologies
- Contribution margin analysis
- Marketplace analytics
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from operational to executive
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to make data-driven, swift decisions in fast-moving environments
