About the Role
Commercial Brands Outsourcing (CBO) and Lifecycle Management represent a high-growth opportunity within established pharmaceutical portfolios. While many brands deprioritise these areas, untapped revenue and profit growth remain viable. This role involves:
- Defining and evolving market-leading offering solutions aligned with client needs and competitive differentiation
- Collaborating cross-functionally to translate technical expertise into strategic client solutions
- Guiding the sales cycle, business development, and market positioning initiatives
You will act as the central connector within IQVIA, shaping best-in-class solutions and strategic business opportunities globally.
Key Responsibilities
Core Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Guide the Commercial Brands Outsourcing (CO) Strategy across IQVIA’s Global Commercial Solutions, aligning with regional partnerships, business unit goals, and GTM strategies
- Lead global offering development for established/mature brands, ensuring competitive positioning and client-driven innovation
- Identify and gift-wrap high-value growth opportunities through landscape analysis and competitive benchmarking
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Coordinate with regional teams to assess and activate market opportunities, leveraging local insights
- Serve as a client-facing subject matter expert, advising on commercial best practices, risk mitigation, and solution architecture
- Collaborate with IQVIA’s cross-functional teams (R&D, analytics, strategy, and partnerships) to develop scalable, end-to-end solutions
- Build and maintain strategic alliances with external partners to enhance solution delivery

Business Development & Proposal Support
- Lead RFI/RFP response efforts, transforming technical capabilities into client-focused value propositions
- Provide drafting/coordination support for new requirement documents, proposals, and deal-sized materials
- Act as the key liaison in win/loss reviews and client meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Team & Talent Development
- Lead a global team, focusing on:
- Work allocation and resource prioritisation
- Performance management, coaching, and mentorship
- Resolving employee relations discrepancies
Essential Functions
✔ Offering Development & Commercial Strategy
- Partner with IQVIA and external stakeholders to design differentiating lifecycle management solutions
- Lead market intelligence deep dives, identifying unmet client needs and high-potential markets
- Present insights to senior leadership, shaping programmatic strategies and ir řešení optimisations
✔ Cross-Site Collaboration
- Mediate and align global/regional teams, ensuring consistency in gain strategy execution
- Embed best practices from client engagements into regional offering frameworks
✔ Value Creation & Monetisation
- Develop commercial increments (new services, partnerships, or go-to-market models) built on established brand assets
- Foster narrative cohesion across IQVIA, ensuring consistent messaging to internal/external audiences
✔ Proactive Influence & Growth Planning
- Contribute to biz unit planning, identifying growth levers in contract selection and expansion
- Co-design strategic pivots when market dynamics shift unexpectedly
✔ Agile Leadership Impact
- Ensure on-time, budget, and alignment-adherence in all initiatives
- Champion innovative thinking, leveraging multi-disciplinary expertise

Key Qualifications & Competencies
Professional Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA or advanced degree (business, science, or pharma-related) preferred
- 12–15+ years in relevant fields, including:
- Biopharmaceutical, clinical development, consultancy, or agency experience
- At least 4+ years of senior leadership experience
- Focus on offering development, portfolio strategy, or commercial brands post-launch
Industry Expertise
- Deep knowledge of lifecycle management, commercial contracting, and post-launch strategies
- Proven track record in:
- Working with mature brands and wellness aging schedules
- Navigating contract negotiations within complex commercial models
- Designing integrated solutions across R&D, sales, and supply chain
Leadership & Influence
- A strategic thinker with expertise in:
- Spotting trends that disrupt or uplift portfolio health
- Translating analytical insights into actionable opportunities
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, including C-suite and external networks
- People leadership skills (performance coaching, talent development, conflict resolution)
