Job Title: Global Head Operational Risk Artificial Intelligence – Chief Risk Office
Location: London
Corporate Title: Director
You will guide the global Artificial Intelligence risk agenda within Operational Risk Management, part of Deutsche Bank’s Chief Risk Office. This is an opportunity to shape a connected, inclusive and trusted framework for managing Artificial Intelligence as an emerging cross-risk type across the Bank. You will work together with business, risk, governance and regulatory partners to support responsible innovation while helping teams understand and manage Artificial Intelligence-specific risks. You will join a collaborative global community focused on sound standards, shared ownership and effective risk oversight.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Artificial Intelligence cross-risk management framework globally.
- Review and assess Artificial Intelligence use cases across the Bank, supporting required controls and alignment with risk appetite.
- Participate in Artificial Intelligence oversight governance forums, sharing issues and themes through the appropriate channels.
- Partner with business teams as they explore emerging opportunities, supporting responsible risk assessment and trusted outcomes.
- Provide regulatory and external insight on this emerging risk topic, helping colleagues understand evolving expectations.
- Coordinate and support a global team, nurturing collaboration, shared standards and consistent delivery.
Your Skills And Experience
- Extensive experience across business, finance, risk management, consulting or a similar financial services role, including supporting a team.
- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, including commonly used technologies, typical use cases and current industry trends.
- Clear understanding of Artificial Intelligence-specific risks, including model risk, bias, explainability, data privacy, security, over-reliance and regulatory risk.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment shaping the financial services response to Artificial Intelligence.
- Proven ability to translate technical Artificial Intelligence concepts into risk and control implications for different stakeholder communities.
- Experience in Operational Risk Management within the Second Line of Defence, including the core components of an Operational Risk Framework.
