Role Overview

ViiV Healthcare is recruiting for the role of Manager, Global Health Outcomes (GHO).

The GHO Manager will contribute to or support members of the GHO team to conduct activities supporting the current and growing HIV portfolio — an opportunity to apply your specialised health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) expertise in HIV drug development, reimbursement, and market access.

GHO drives the demonstration of value for ViiV medicines, optimising patient benefit and access, with a growing focus on Real World Evidence (RWE) and Patient-Centered Outcomes (PCOs) of drugs used for the treatment or prevention of HIV.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with members of the GHO team to develop:
    • Non-interventional studies on:
      • Disease burden
      • Treatment patterns
      • Patient experience
    • Systematic literature reviews
    • Meta-analyses
    • Indirect treatment comparisons
    • Launch deliverables such as:
      • Global value dossiers
      • Economic models

  • Proactively manage project-level aspects of studies/projects, including:

    • Timelines

  • Ensure potential project risks are escalated to the relevant GHO team members

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on topics related to the research portfolio

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across:

  • Manage:

    • Internal and external stakeholder relationships

  • Execute day-to-day project tasks and manage:

    • Deliverables
    • Raise issues to ensure timely, compliant delivery

Minimum Requirements

  • A Master’s-level degree in:

    • Health outcomes
    • Patient-reported outcomes
    • Health economics
    • Epidemiology
    • Pharmacy
    • Health or life sciences
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in:

    • A research organisation
    • Academic centre
    • Pharmaceutical industry
  • Pharmaceutical experience that includes:

    • Drug development
    • Launch experience
  • Support of value evidence generation

  • Methodology training in:

    • Economic modelling
    • Observational studies
