Global Infrastructure Manager – Onsite (Glasgow)

Here at Harvey Nash, we’re working with a leading Scottish organisation, a key player within its sector and with a strong global footprint, to recruit an experienced Global Infrastructure Manager.

This is a critical role within their transformation programme, offering the opportunity to shape the future of technology infrastructure across the organisation.

As Global Infrastructure Manager, you will:

  • Manage a small but specialised global technology team
  • Streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Support cloud technology adoption
  • Work closely with business, technology, and security stakeholders
  • Drive the design, delivery, and modernisation of secure, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure and network services
  • Ensure alignment with organisational priorities, future demand, and continued business growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Own infrastructure across legacy and cloud environments
  • Lead cloud migration, modernisation, and transformation initiatives
  • Deliver secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure services
  • Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Lead critical incident response, resilience, and business continuity
  • Ensure strong stakeholder engagement across the organisation
  • Manage key vendors and strategic technology partnerships

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience leading global or multi-region infrastructure operations
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale transformation programmes, including cloud migration and hybrid environments
  • A strong technical background, enabling you to influence strategic decisions
  • Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and contribute hands-on when needed
