Role Overview
Location: Europe – London (with occasional travel)
BlackRock is seeking a motivated candidate to join as an Associate-level investment professional within Global Infrastructure Solutions (GIS), supporting the underwriting, execution, and ongoing management of infrastructure multi-manager investments—with a focus on -European secondaries and co-investments. The role is based in London and will necessitate travel.

- Secondaries (GP-led and LP-led transactions)
- Co-investments
- Primary fund placements
Extensively experienced, GIS boasts over 250 investments executed since 2008, making it one of the most resilient infrastructure multi-manager teams in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Underwriting & Execution:
- Conduct commercial due diligence, including market research and valuation.
- Develop complex financial models and analyses to support underwriting efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate legal, tax, and commercial workstreams.
- Draft detailed investment memos.
- Present recommendations to investment committees and client teams.

Portfolio Monitoring & Management:
- Monitor investments post-closure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Foster strong GP (General Partner) relationships to drive performance and stickiness.
- Prepare materials for quarterly performance reviews and stakeholder reporting.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience
- 2+ years of relevant infrastructure investment experience, particularly with:
- Secondaries underwriting (GP-led or LP-led transactions)
- Principal/private equity investing (complementary exposure)
Investment Capabilities
- Strong quantitative acumen to build and interpret advanced financial models.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (financial forecasts, sensitivity analyses, etc.).
Tools & Technologies
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- AI platforms (Copilot, ChatGPT, Tolt, or similar).
Soft Skills & Languages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English required; professional competency in additional languages is highly desirable.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.

Hybrid Work Model
