The Intake Specialist role at DeChant Law is pivotal in transforming potential leads into committed clients. This position is focused on handling the intake process from initial contact to signing, thus playing a critical role in the growth of the firm. By bridging the gap between prospective clients and our legal services, you will ensure that individuals seeking help receive the necessary guidance and support, thus making a significant impact on our firm's effectiveness and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
- Inbound Call Handling: Serve as the first point of contact by answering inbound calls and acting as both the receptionist and salesperson for the firm.
- Full-Cycle Intake: Own the process from the initial call through signing, ensuring every lead is maximized for conversion.
- Consultative Sales Execution: Use high-level consultative sales skills to build trust, conduct consultations, and guide prospective clients toward hiring the firm.
- One-Call Close: Focus on closing leads during the first call to prevent drop-offs and maximize conversion.
- Call Screening and Qualification: Determine case fit and either close the client or schedule further consultation with an attorney when needed.
- Spanish-Speaking Client Handling: Communicate with and support Spanish-speaking clients to help grow this strategic segment of the firm.
- Appointment Scheduling & Handoff: Schedule consultations on attorney calendars and ensure a smooth transition to the case management team after the client signs and pays.
- Script & Process Adherence: Follow and adapt to firm talk tracks, scripts, and intake workflows, contributing to a consistent and high-performing intake process.
- Intake-Only Focus: This role is strictly focused on intake and sales, no case management responsibilities after the client is signed.
What We’re Looking For
- Law Firm Experience: Previous intake experience in a legal setting, with a preference for criminal defense.
- Bilingual Requirement: Fluent in Spanish and English, able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
- Sales Ability: Proven track record in consultative sales, particularly with a focus on one-call closes.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong empathy and communication skills to connect with clients in emotional states.
- Adaptability: Ability to follow and adapt scripts as needed to meet the demands of different situations.
- Remote Work Readiness: Able to work independently in a remote environment, maintaining consistent productivity, reliability, and clear communication without the need for close supervision.
- Availability & Schedule Alignment: This role is designed to extend coverage beyond traditional business hours. The ideal schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, with weekday hours of 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT. Weekend hours may be either 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MDT, with some flexibility (e.g., Sunday–Thursday workdays)
