Finance Lead – Intercompany Rationalisation

London - Global Scope

2-Year Fixed Term Contract

We are partnering with a global organisation on a high-profile, CFO-sponsored transformation programme focused on simplifying and rationalising historic intercompany balances across an international footprint spanning approximately 65 locations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a strategically important initiative that sits at the intersection of Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance and Corporate Governance. The successful individual will be responsible for driving the programme from assessment through to execution, establishing robust processes and governance frameworks to support a sustainable future-state operating model. This role would suit an experienced finance transformation, intercompany, restructuring, legal entity rationalisation or special projects leader who enjoys solving complex organisational challenges and influencing stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a global intercompany transformation programme across a complex multinational group.
  • Assess and rationalise historic intercompany balances, identifying appropriate settlement and remediation strategies.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies and procedures for the ongoing management of intercompany balances.
  • Coordinate activity across Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Drive programme governance, reporting, planning and execution across multiple workstreams and jurisdictions.
  • Identify and manage financial, operational, legal and tax risks associated with balance rationalisation activities.
  • Engage senior stakeholders and executive leadership, providing regular project updates and recommendations.
  • Establish a scalable and sustainable future-state process that reduces complexity and improves control.
  • Support the execution of associated legal entity, restructuring or organisational simplification activities where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
