We are currently in an exciting period of digital transformation across our ERP, CRM, and data platforms.
The Opportunity
This is a newly scoped senior role at the heart of Bimeda's digital transformation agenda. As Global IT Applications Lead, you will own the enterprise platforms that run the business — SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, QAD ERP, and Salesforce CRM — across a growing global organisation spanning 30+ legal entities.
This is not a traditional IT applications management role. You will operate as a senior member of the global IT leadership team, providing strategic platform ownership and leadership across our ERP and CRM landscape. You will govern active implementations with leading partners, engage directly with regional CEOs, COO, and CFO, and build the platform roadmap that will underpin Bimeda’s next phase of global growth.

Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud — Platform Ownership
- Own Bimeda's SAP S/4HANA strategy and global rollout programme
- Lead the relationship with SAP implementation partners, ensuring delivery governance, scope control, and issue resolution
- Drive the SAP global expansion roadmap in collaboration with the Global IT Manager — sequencing, planning, and resourcing future entity rollouts
- Govern SAP release cycles, upgrade windows, configuration change management, and clean core compliance
- Represent Bimeda in Fit-to-Standard workshops, ensuring business requirements are captured and change-controlled effectively
QAD ERP — Transition Management
- Maintain and manage QAD ERP across existing Bimeda manufacturing and operational sites
- Ensure QAD operational stability, vendor management, and user support escalation throughout the transition period
- Govern any QAD change requests, upgrades, or configuration changes required during the transition window

Salesforce CRM — Platform Leadership
- Own the global Salesforce platform strategy, application roadmap, licence governance, and release management
- Lead the active Salesforce transformation programme with Salesforce partner, be accountable for delivery to agreed scope, timeline, and budget
- Engage regional CEOs and commercial leadership to ensure CRM capabilities align to business development and revenue objectives
- Drive Salesforce adoption across Bimeda's commercial teams globally, working with regional IT leads to support localised rollout
- Manage the Salesforce partner relationship including commercial performance, scope governance, and renewal negotiations
Vendor & Commercial Management
- Manage all digital solutions vendor relationships and other ERP/CRM partners
- Support contract and SOW review processes in collaboration with the Global IT Manager and Legal Counsel
- Monitor vendor SLA performance and escalate issues promptly and with appropriate documentation
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities across the digital platform vendor portfolio
Integration & Architecture
- Collaborate with the Global Technical Lead on integration patterns between SAP, Salesforce, and underlying IT infrastructure
- Ensure platform implementations adhere to agreed integration standards, API governance, and clean core principles
- Own functional integration specifications for ERP and CRM; partner with the Global Technical Lead on technical delivery
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Operate as a senior IT leader — providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight across platform workstreams, vendor relationships, and implementation partners
- Engage regional CEOs, COO, and CFO with clarity, commercial awareness, and credibility
- Contribute to IT leadership team meetings with regular platform portfolio status reporting
- Work with the IT PMO Lead to ensure ERP and CRM workstreams are governed, tracked, and reported accurately
- Collaborate with regional IT leads across North America, LATAM, Europe, Africa, and Asia on local platform requirements
What We're Looking For
Essential — SAP & ERP
- 7+ years in enterprise applications, ERP platform management, or digital solutions leadership
- Proven SAP S/4HANA experience — Public Cloud strongly preferred; ECC with demonstrated cloud migration experience will be considered
- In-house SAP platform ownership experience — candidates from consulting backgrounds without in-house accountability will not be considered
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and SAP Cloud ALM for project and release governance
- Experience managing phased ERP rollouts across multiple legal entities or regions

Essential — Salesforce CRM
- Salesforce CRM platform experience at enterprise scale — functional ownership, programme management, or transformation delivery
- Experience managing Salesforce implementation partners through full project lifecycle
- Understanding of Salesforce roadmap management, licence governance, and release cycles
Essential — Leadership & Commercial
- Demonstrated senior leadership capability — directing vendors, partners, and stakeholders across complex multi-workstream environments
- Excellent written and verbal English communication — essential for senior stakeholder engagement across global time zones
- Strong commercial awareness — confident in SOW, MSA, and vendor negotiation contexts
- Structured, governance-first approach to change management, scope control, and project delivery
Desirable
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification or equivalent formal training
- Salesforce certification (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, animal health, FMCG, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, M365, and Power BI in an enterprise context
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Experience with QAD ERP in a manufacturing or distribution context
What Success Looks Like — First 90 Days
- Establish a thorough working knowledge of Bimeda's SAP, QAD, and Salesforce landscape — current state, active projects, and open risks
- Assume ownership of the Vision33 and Clicks partner relationships and active delivery workstreams
- Produce a consolidated ERP and CRM platform roadmap for review by the Global IT Manager
- Identify and communicate any immediate risks, scope gaps, or commercial issues across the platform portfolio
- Build credibility with at least two regional business stakeholders through proactive engagement on their platform priorities
