Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation—inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

BCG's 2030 strategy is built on building the most AI-fluent workforce in the world—and the quality of the learning experiences that get people there is what makes that ambition real. Join us to pioneer AI-powered learning experiences that scale, personalize, and transform how our people grow. As Learning Experience Design Senior Manager, you will be part of a rapid response team, working at the execution layer where strategy becomes tangible learning. You will translate strategic direction into concrete, high-quality learning experiences that reflect both the latest in learning science and the possibilities of AI—bringing BCG-specific context, instructional rigor, and hands-on design craft to every solution.

Your day-to-day spans the full design cycle. You will:

  • Design and deliver firm-wide learning campaigns—integrating learning in the flow of work, agentic experiences, digital learning, and live events into coherent, measurable journeys
  • Apply AI tools and techniques to develop innovative learning solutions, automate design workflows, and prototype intelligent agents that personalize and scale our learning offerings
  • Bring learning and development best practices into everything you build—ensuring solutions are not just technically capable but grounded in how people learn and change behavior
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, data analysts, learning architects, and fellow learning designers to test hypotheses, uncover insights, and co-develop solutions that drive measurable learning and business outcomes in a fast-moving environment

You are good at:

Learning design

  • Define and structure learning problems from ambiguous or incomplete briefs, asking the right questions to move forward with confidence, from uncertainty to learner-centric design solutions with observable success criteria
  • Conduct learner and stakeholder analyses to understand needs and skill gaps to shape targeted solutions
  • Partner with rapid response team colleagues, SMEs, other internal teams to select most appropriate process, structure, technology, and delivery formats depending on identified learning goals
  • Distill complex topics into learner-friendly formats using storytelling, real-world scenarios, and behaviorally driven design approaches that connect learning directly to how people work. That includes but is not limited to digital and agentic experiences, assessment design, live learning events, performance support
  • Curate and contextualize external learning assets while helping build BCG-specific capabilities
  • Prototype ideas and conduct proof-of-concepts quickly to continuously refine based on feedback from stakeholders and end-users
  • Apply AI tools throughout the design process while maintaining instructional integrity and editorial judgement by reviewing and refining AI generated content for accuracy, learning efficacy, and tone alignment
  • Work independently with existing source material and content to develop effective learning experiences, bringing in subject matter experts to validate accuracy and relevance
  • Perform independently in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
