- Support unified sales and marketing processes across regional Power Consulting units, including pipeline reviews, reporting expectations, and follow-up of key pursuits.
- Support marketing initiatives, thought leadership activities, and industry engagement to strengthen market visibility and generate demand.
- Lead or contribute to the development of customer-facing content, capability statements, and marketing materials that clearly communicate the value of Power Consulting services.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and contribute to service portfolio growth.
- Track pipeline health, conversion rates, order intake, and key commercial risks, escalating and proposing mitigation actions where needed.
- Deliver on order intake, pipeline, and profitability objectives while upholding Hitachi Energy’s values of safety and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
