About The Role

As we embark on an exciting phase of international expansion, we are looking for a Global Marketing Director to shape the narrative of our brand both in the UK and across the globe.

At Tropic, our business is built on heart, loyalty, and genuine relationships. We want to continue fostering these values as we grow, ensuring that every campaign and global initiative empowers people and makes a meaningful impact.

We’re looking for a highly creative, ideas-driven storyteller who not only understands the strategic and commercial side of global marketing but also embraces our mission of empowering communities and building lasting relationships. In a rapidly evolving world, you will have your finger on the pulse of the marketing industry, staying ahead of trends and bringing forward-thinking, innovative ideas to keep Tropic at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Storytelling and Campaign Development: Lead the creation of innovative, standout marketing campaigns that set us apart in the beauty industry while fostering loyalty and genuine connections with our community. Your campaigns should reflect Tropic’s mission to empower people and create a positive impact. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a close eye on emerging marketing trends, particularly around digital transformation and AI, ensuring Tropic remains ahead of the curve. Bring bold, forward-thinking ideas that ensure our campaigns are as innovative as they are impactful. Strategic Market Leadership: Understand the unique needs of different international markets (including the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia), and develop tailored go-to-market strategies that honour the heart and loyalty at the core of our brand, while integrating cutting-edge marketing techniques and consumer insights. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a global marketing team that shares Tropic’s values of empowerment and relationship-driven success. Foster a team culture that prioritises genuine connections, continuous learning, and future-focused innovation. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with our UK-based marketing team and cross-functional colleagues (including product development and NPD teams) to ensure marketing efforts are fully integrated, authentic, and resonate with Tropic’s values. Global Rollout and Commercial Understanding: Ensure that campaigns are not only creative but also commercially viable. You’ll understand the financial and logistical aspects of global marketing and make data-driven decisions to maximise impact and ROI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Tropic

Susie, our Founder and CEO, started Tropic Skincare as a teenager, selling homemade body scrubs at Greenwich Market to help her mum pay the bills. She sold out on her first day, and the incredible response made her realise she had started something quite special.

We still sell that iconic body scrub, and it sits alongside an extensive range of award-winning skincare and beauty products that have made us one of the UK’s fastest-growing beauty businesses. Our brand is certified vegan, cruelty-free and CarbonNeutral®, and our infinite purpose is to create a healthier, greener, more empowered world. And that’s where you come in!

We’re looking for creative and ambitious people who share our vision and get excited about beauty that’s both innovative and sustainable. If you’re passionate about skincare and have a genuine desire to empower communities across the globe, you could be a great fit.

Apply now if you’re ready to join a vibrant team who believes beauty knows no bounds!
