Global Marketing Director

Mode Executive is partnering with an internationally recognised luxury Ready-to-Wear fashion house to appoint an exceptional Global Marketing Director. This is a key executive appointment for a commercially minded marketing leader with a strong luxury background, capable of shaping global brand strategy while driving commercial performance and customer engagement across international markets.

Based in London, this position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with senior leadership across Creative, Product, Commercial, Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce. The successful candidate will lead the global marketing function, overseeing brand communications, integrated campaigns, digital marketing, PR, partnerships and customer engagement to strengthen the brand's international presence and support its continued growth.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver a global marketing strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives and long-term brand vision.
  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated seasonal campaigns, product launches, fashion week initiatives and brand activations across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Drive consistent global brand positioning while ensuring relevance across key international markets.
  • Oversee all marketing channels including digital, social media, CRM, content, paid media, events and experiential marketing.
  • Partner closely with Creative and Product teams to ensure marketing initiatives accurately reflect the brand's identity, collections and storytelling.
  • Lead global PR and communications strategies, managing agency relationships and cultivating strong networks across media, industry, cultural partners, influencers and VIPs.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations that enhance brand awareness and cultural relevance.
  • Work alongside E-commerce teams to improve customer acquisition, retention, conversion and lifetime value through data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Support Retail and Wholesale teams with marketing programmes, client engagement strategies, store activations and international market launches.
  • Manage global marketing budgets, agency partnerships and campaign performance, ensuring measurable return on investment.
  • Build, mentor and develop a high-performing international marketing team while fostering collaboration across the wider business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and evolving consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and regularly report on campaign effectiveness and commercial impact to the executive leadership team.

  • Significant senior marketing leadership experience within the luxury fashion industry, ideally within Ready-to-Wear.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing international marketing strategies for a global luxury brand.
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning, consumer behaviour and omnichannel marketing.
  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Extensive knowledge of PR, communications, influencer marketing, brand partnerships and cultural engagement.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance long-term brand equity and short-term business objectives.
  • Experience working collaboratively with executive leadership and creative teams in a fast-paced luxury environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using customer insights and performance data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, founder-led or high-growth environment.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship and creating meaningful consumer experiences.
