Role Description
As a Global Marketing Intern at DHL Global Forwarding, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, supporting various global marketing initiatives and internal communications. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and assisting with the implementation of marketing tools. Working across multiple initiatives and with different stakeholders, the role will provide an opportunity to develop a broad understanding of how marketing activities, technology, data, and processes work together.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up of marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of marketing automation platforms and other digital marketing tools.
- Helping to prepare, review, organise, and maintain campaign materials, communications, and digital content.
- Supporting the coordination of internal marketing communications, updates, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Assisting with campaign monitoring, data preparation, reporting, and the identification of relevant insights.
- Supporting the documentation and improvement of marketing processes, workflows, templates, and ways of working.
- Contributing to the testing and implementation of new tools, technologies, and innovative marketing approaches.
- Working with colleagues across marketing, commercial teams, product teams, countries, and other relevant functions to support shared initiatives.
- Providing general coordination and operational support across selected marketing projects and priorities.
Candidate Profile

- Be currently studying or have recently completed a degree in marketing, business, communications, digital media, data, technology, or a related field.
- Have an interest in marketing, digital tools, campaign management, technology, and customer engagement.
- Be organised, proactive, and comfortable supporting several activities at the same time.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Be comfortable working with data, digital platforms, presentations, and standard business tools.
- Be able to collaborate with colleagues from different teams, functions, and cultural backgrounds.
- Bring curiosity, a problem-solving mindset, and an interest in finding more effective ways of working.
Previous experience with marketing platforms, campaign tools, content creation, reporting, or data analysis would be beneficial but is not essential.

- Physical/Hybrid: Hybrid (Remote, with occasional meetings in the UK office (Staines) and trips to the GHO in Bonn, Germany)
