Global Human Resources Business Partner, Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR leader to join a globally recognised financial services organisation as a Global Human Resources Business Partner, Director supporting their Global Markets business. Working closely with senior business leaders across multiple international locations, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the global people strategy, driving organisational change, and influencing business performance.

This is a highly visible strategic role where you'll partner with executive stakeholders to lead talent initiatives, support organisational transformation, and deliver commercially focused HR solutions across a complex, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver strategic people plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead organisational change, workforce planning, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive global talent management, performance, reward and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with specialist HR teams and Talent Acquisition to deliver best-in-class people solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, organisational design and employment legislation.
  • Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve organisational performance.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives across global teams.

About you

  • Significant experience operating as a senior HR Business Partner within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading organisational change and delivering strategic HR initiatives.
  • Expertise across talent management, organisational design, performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working across multiple regions and cultures within a global business is highly desirable.
