Global Mobility Technology Manager

Service Line InformationSitting within the Global Mobility Service practice, the Business Travel and Remote Work team, through market-leading technology solutions and technical expertise, assist clients to transform the way they manage risk identification, compliance and advisory for internationally mobile employees. KPMG’s business travel solution is built within KPMG LINK Go, our propriety Global Mobility Services technology platform. This team is responsible for implementing LINK Go for Business Travel, Remote Work, Assignment Management and broader tax and immigration services. The Role
Supporting the team leaders to advise colleagues and/or clients on a broad range of technology cross-border mover topics, including LINK Go implementations, process design, income tax, social security, immigration, PWD and corporate tax. Working with the UK business travel team and the Global LINK Go product team to provide market feedback and drive product enhancements. Building and maintaining relationships with clients to support business travel engagements and business development. Participating in internal and external seminars and workshops. Leading some internal training sessions and external demos. Seeking opportunities to review processes and look for enhancements which drive efficiency or generate new opportunities. Embracing the use of AI in our services and acting as a role model for AI roll out for the broader GMS and GMS Technology teams. Coaching and mentoring junior team members. Supports engagement leaders to manage engagement risk and finances for primary client accounts.

The Person
Anticipates the viewpoint of others, listens and addresses concerns. Builds co-operative relationships and fosters an environment in which everyone’s opinion is valued. Provides on-going feedback, coaching and mentoring that supports individuals development needs and career aspirations. Proactively engages in cross-functional communications and sharing of information. Ideally 3 years of experience in design and implementation of Global Mobility technology offerings. Ideally has experience or understanding the role of a technology product owner. Understanding of Global Mobility processes, particularly with respect to business traveller compliance and associated processes. Energetic, committed, and ambitious with a high level of personal responsibility and accountability for teamwork. Ability to identify core issues, investigates, evaluates and propose solutions to both clients and internal teams. Communicates with impact, both in speech and writing, and in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under own initiative. Capable of working to deadlines, showing resilience under pressure and an ability to apply knowledge to non-routine situations. Demonstrates sound professional judgement including the ability to identify issues/concerns and consult where appropriate with more senior staff.
