DaVita is seeking a Global Nephrology Registered Nurse eager to transform lives at an outpatient dialysis center.

What You Can Expect
- Long-term patient relationships: Build meaningful connections with patients and families in an intimate, outpatient setting.
- A family atmosphere: Staff RNs are part of a small, multidisciplinary team including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, physicians, and center managers.

- Specialised, complex care: Deliver tailored treatment plans for patients with multiple co-morbidities.
- Fast-paced environment: Work with a patient census (varying by state laws), assisted by Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), for daily assessments, observations, and machine set-up.
- Clinical leadership: DaVita excels in CMS standards; nurses are expected to contribute to clinical goal-setting and quality improvement.
- Flexible scheduling: 10-12 hour shifts, typically 1-4 days per week with early morning or day shifts. Some holiday work required.

Position Details
Training & Placement:
- Training may occur in facilities or classrooms with others outside your assigned clinic.
- You will need to be flexible regarding your final clinic assignment (may be in a different location) and including the potential to work across clinics both during and after training.
- Shift availability must include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience:
- Must deliver empathetic, compassionate care as you would wish for yourself.
- Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and problem-solve under stress.
- Excellent communication with patients and teammates.
Formal Qualifications:
- Accredited nursing education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) or Bachelor’s in Nursing (B.S.N.) or equivalency via a three-year diploma program.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience charting in electronic medical record systems.
- Minimum 2 years of dialysis RN experience (required for this location).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in your state of residence.
Advantageous Background:
- Critical care (ICU, CCU, ER) or Medical-Surgical experience.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
- Experience in acute dialysis, chronic hemodialysis, or home hemodialysis (HHD).
- Training or teaching background in healthcare settings.
