About the Role

You’ll be the vigilant guardian operating from our high-pressure, high-stakes control room—coordinating responses to alarms, monitoring CCTV and access control systems worldwide, and ensuring business continuity during security/safety issues.

Whether it’s deploying rapid-response teams or activating emergency protocols, your work will make a visible impact. At Securitas, we traverse *crime prevention, civil disorder, income protection, and more—you’ll be a key part of this essential work.

Every Day, You’ll Be:

  • Monitoring global offices, services, and events
    • Responding to alarm signals from physical security systems
    • Operating CCTV security, access control, and real-time locations tracking
  • ** Eskalating in real time**
    • Handling high-risk incidents (protests, harassment, assault, elevators, fire, unauthorised access, fraud, and cyber threats)
  • Working with a team to support rapid response
    • Assisting with protocol activation, safe evacuations, and recovery efforts
  • Maintaining strict continuity principles
    • Keeping clear, accurate incident logs and signoff reports for shift improvements
    • Ensuring handover transparency with shift team colleagues

Responsibilities

Your core goals will revolve around our focus on vigor and impact:

  • Continuously guard against incidents by tracking live alerts and assessing risks.
  • Lead balanced responses while supporting both internal teams and client critical support.
  • *Ensure vast regulatory andiligence systems—including crafthandle client protocols.
  • Manage procedures at the highest levels with accuracy, calmness, and vigilance.
  • Seamlessly take over and hand over tasks to ensure crisis-coordination continuity at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We need a candidate who can think strategically, communicate clearly under pressure, and prioritise real-time movement*. Ideally, you will have:

  • In-person experience with:
    • Operating in a control room, security operating centre, SOC, or high-risk operations surrounding safety and individual movement.
  • Certifications/qualifications:
    • A valid CCTV licence, or the capacity to obtain one in a prompt timeframe.
    • Proficiency in advanced IT across our suite of security technology and support systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Robust incident management experience: response, reporting, escalation—within a variety of operational or security environments.
  • Strong conflict resolution and crisis management instincts that allow you to stay calm while others panic.
  • Keen situational awareness: the ability to evaluate threats, anticipate challenges, and drive thorough responses.
  • Crystal-clear domestic/written English and professional rapport-building abilities in challenging dialogues.
  • A belief in teamwork, focused action, and growth through experience.
  • A commitment to service—whether through direct actions, learning, or supporting colleagues.
  • Flexibility to adjust operating hours—including night shifts, weekends, holidays/vacation, and statutory bank holidays.
