Global Partnerships Director
UK (Ideally London/Chichester) (Remote)
About the Role
As Linnworks accelerates growth across the globe, we are seeking a commercially driven, strategically minded partnerships leader to own and scale our worldwide partner ecosystem. This is a senior, high-visibility role at the heart of our go-to-market strategy and one that requires executive presence, a strong global network, and the credibility to represent Linnworks at the highest levels of the industry across every region we operate in.
As Global Partnerships Director, you will carry full accountability for the partner channel worldwide owning revenue contribution, strategic alliance development, and the overall health and performance of the global partner portfolio. You will attend and represent Linnworks at key industry events across EMEA, NORAM, and other strategic markets, shape partnerships strategy on a global scale, and lead a team of regional leaders, including Heads of Partnerships for NORAM and Senior and Associate Partner Managers, ensuring one unified, high-performing global function.
What You'll Own
PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY & REVENUE
- Design and execute a compelling commercial partnership strategy spanning all regions, aligned to Linnworks' global market position and growth ambitions
- Identify, negotiate, and close high-value partnership agreements that drive meaningful MRR contribution across every market
- Build and manage a diverse global partner portfolio spanning marketplaces, platforms, agencies, technology partners, and consultancies
- Create revenue-centric partner programmes and go-to-market propositions that generate measurable pipeline worldwide, while allowing for regional nuance
GLOBAL PRESENCE & REPRESENTATION
- Attend and represent Linnworks at key industry events, conferences, and partner forums across EMEA and NORAM
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with strategic partners around the world
- Act as the authoritative voice of the global partner ecosystem internally, informing product, marketing, and sales strategy at a company-wide level
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
- Lead, develop, and coach the global partnerships function with direct management of, Head of Partnerships NORAM and a team in EMEA, including Senior and Associate Partner Managers
- Set clear targets and performance expectations across all regions, creating a high-accountability, high-support environment
- Set strategic direction for regional leaders, ensuring alignment, consistency, and best-practice sharing across all partnership functions globally

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and product to develop and execute joint go-to-market campaigns across all regions
- Ensure partner-sourced leads are managed efficiently and converted at the highest possible rate globally
- Lead initiatives that unlock upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing Linnworks customer base worldwide
PERFORMANCE & REPORTING
- Monitor and report on global partnership performance metrics, continuously optimising programme investment across regions
- Provide regular senior-level visibility on global pipeline contribution, partner health, and strategic development to the executive team
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial leadership with significant international exposure across multiple regions
- A track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems that have driven measurable revenue growth at a global or multi-regional level
- Deep understanding of the eCommerce or retail technology landscape and an established international network within it
- Executive presence - credible, confident, and compelling in senior stakeholder and industry settings across cultures and geographies
- Experience leading and developing distributed, multi-regional partnerships teams
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills & able to operate from individual contributor to C-suite, across markets
- Strong commercial acumen, with fluency in pipeline economics, partner ROI, and programme investment decisions
- A data-driven approach to performance management and decision-making
- Self-starter with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage a complex, high-stakes, global portfolio
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
