About this role
We are seeking experienced, highly motivated professionals with strong analytical and organisational skills for a client-facing global payroll role. You will manage a varied client portfolio, overseeing day-to-day global payroll processing and responding to urgent queries via global mailboxes.
Working with the wider team, you will liaise with our global network and technology teams to ensure payrolls are processed accurately and to support technology enhancements and implementations. You will lead regular client meetings to review payroll KPIs, manage enhancement requests, and oversee project plans and business requirements.
The ideal candidate is proactive, curious and innovative, with excellent written and verbal communication and a strong service mindset.
What your days will look like
- Manage global payroll mailboxes, responding to day-to-day and ad hoc queries promptly; take end-to-end ownership of issues, partnering with peers and Technology to resolve escalations under pressure.
- Prepare and perform initial reviews of required deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met within agreed SLAs and best practice is applied to drive excellent client satisfaction.
- Lead regular client calls to review contract performance and KPIs, provide service updates, manage out-of-scope work, and agree processes to onboard new locations and implement payroll changes.
- Become proficient in the Global Payroll Platform (GPP), including new entity setup; deliver client/network training and demos; manage and develop junior team members (including SDC Kolkata) and liaise with the Mauritius GPP team on issues and enhancements, supporting BD where needed.
