Are you an experienced Global Payroll Specialist looking to join a highly respected organisation with an outstanding reputation for employee experience and professional development?
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Global Payroll Specialist to join our established payroll team based in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Reporting to a highly respected and supportive Payroll Manager, you will become part of a collaborative, welcoming team within a first-class working environment.

The Role
As Global Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll services across multiple countries and jurisdictions. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers, you will ensure payroll processes are completed efficiently and in line with local legislation.

Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payrolls across multiple international locations.
- Liaise with in-country payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, payroll and employment legislation.
- Validate payroll data, calculations, deductions and statutory payments.
- Manage employee lifecycle payroll activities including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Reconcile payroll reports and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy within HR and payroll systems.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance and external vendors to drive payroll excellence.
- Support payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and payroll efficiencies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Essential experience managing global payrolls across multiple countries.
- Strong knowledge of international payroll processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with external payroll providers and managing payroll relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using payroll and HRIS systems.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
