Ships don't wait. Neither do we.

At S5 Agency World, we're looking for a Global Port Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and enjoys making things happen. Every day you'll coordinate vessel port calls across the globe, connecting clients, local agents, and colleagues around the world to ensure every port call runs safely, efficiently, and commercially.

No two days are the same. One moment you're coordinating a tanker in Rotterdam, the next you're supporting a vessel in Norway or ensuring funding is in place for a call in Germany. If you love solving puzzles, working with people across different cultures, and keeping operations moving, this could be your next challenge.

๐Ÿšข What you'll be doing

You'll be at the heart of our operations, coordinating multiple vessel calls simultaneously through S5's global network.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating vessel port calls from nomination through completion.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between clients, local agents, finance, and internal teams.
  • Preparing and reviewing Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDAs).
  • Managing funding requests to keep vessel operations running smoothly.
  • Monitoring vessel movements and ensuring operational milestones are met.
  • Reviewing operational costs and maintaining commercial compliance.
  • Working closely with Finance on urgent payments and funding.
  • Supporting local agents with operational guidance and best practices.
  • Monitoring client KPIs and service performance.
  • Identifying operational risks and resolving issues before they become problems.
  • Continuously improving the way we work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
