Job Description Summary

The Global Process Engineering Authority – Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will partner with the Global Process Engineering Leader (GPEL) and cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade RPA software solutions across GE Gas Power's Global Supply Chain. This role serves as the organizational authority and subject matter expert for RPA technology and intelligent automation, driving the automation of repetitive, high-volume business processes — including data collection, workflow management, and automated reporting — to improve operational efficiency and accelerate GE Gas Power's digital transformation agenda.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in leading RPA platforms, strong programming fundamentals, and a demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into scalable, maintainable automation solutions. Operating in a global, matrixed environment, this authority-level role will collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, IT, and finance functions — spanning multiple regions and time zones — to deliver measurable business value through intelligent automation.

  • Architect, build, and implement automation workflows and software bots using enterprise RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
  • Design scalable, reusable automation components applicable across global manufacturing and supply chain sites
  • Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems including ERP, MES, and data platforms via APIs and system connectors

Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification

  • Analyze complex, cross-functional business processes within Supply Chain and Manufacturing to identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities
  • Utilize process mining tools (e.g., UiPath Process Mining, Celonis) to quantify inefficiencies and build the business case for automation
  • Gather and document detailed requirements from business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs

  • Lead end-to-end quality assurance, testing, debugging, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all automation solutions
  • Deploy bots into production environments in accordance with GE Vernova's IT governance, change management, and cybersecurity standards
  • Manage RPA Orchestrator environments to ensure reliable scheduling, monitoring, and execution of deployed bots

Maintenance & Support

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing RPA solutions across the global automation portfolio
  • Manage SLAs and escalation procedures for critical production bots, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Proactively identify performance degradation or process drift and implement corrective actions

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all RPA solutions adhere to enterprise cybersecurity policies, data privacy regulations, and IT architecture standards
  • Maintain version control and audit trails for all automation assets in alignment with compliance requirements
  • Serve as the global authority on RPA development standards, naming conventions, best practices, and platform governance frameworks

Documentation

  • Produce comprehensive process documentation, technical specifications, solution design documents, and user guides
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation to enable knowledge transfer, audit readiness, and global scalability of automation solutions

Pipeline & Portfolio Management

  • Maintain and prioritize an automation opportunity pipeline aligned with business value, strategic objectives, and resource capacity
  • Track and report automation KPIs — including hours saved, error reduction, cost avoidance, and ROI — to senior leadership
  • Lead the development and maturation of the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) framework and governance structure across the global organization

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
