About Your Role
As the Global Procurement CoE Head, you will lead the strategy, development, and evolution of Suntory's Global Procurement Centre of Excellence.
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, your responsibilities include:
- Defining the vision, operating model, and roadmap to make procurement more efficient, data-driven, and high-performing.
- Setting priorities that drive value creation, resilience, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Lead the Global Procurement CoE strategy to drive value creation, resilience, and sustainable growth.
- Champion global procurement standards, policies, processes, and best practices across all regions and business units.
- Drive continuous improvement programmes that elevate procurement capability, efficiency, and maturity.

Digital & Technology Leadership
- Lead the digital procurement agenda, including automation, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance user engagement and business performance.
- Oversee procurement systems and platforms (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Fusion), ensuring strong governance, adoption, and optimisation.
- Build advanced data, analytics, and reporting capabilities to provide meaningful business insights for decision-making.
Sustainability & Compliance
- Embed ESG and responsible sourcing principles into procurement strategies, supplier management, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure strong compliance, risk management, and audit readiness across the global procurement function.
People & Leadership
- Lead a high-performing team, developing talent, capability, and future procurement leaders.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, Sustainability, Marketing, HR, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver enterprise-wide outcomes.
- Act as a senior procurement ambassador, influencing strategic direction and strengthening internal/external partnerships.

What You Need to Succeed
We're looking for an experienced procurement leader who combines:
- Strategic thinking
- Operational excellence
- Strong people leadership
Ideal Qualifications & Experience
- Significant procurement leadership experience, preferably in a global or complex matrix organisation.
- Deep expertise in:
- Procurement operations
- Source-to-pay processes
- Category management
- Supplier relationship management
- A strong track record in:
- Leading transformation initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement and business change
- Experience in:
- Implementing and optimising procurement technologies
- Digital solutions and analytics platforms
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business strategies into practical procurement solutions.
- Knowledge of:
- Governance frameworks
- Compliance and risk management in global environments
- ESG, responsible sourcing, and sustainable procurement practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience with executive leadership teams.
- Proven ability to:
- Lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams
- Simplify complex topics and drive engagement across diverse audiences.
- Innovative mindset, curiosity for emerging technologies, and passion for continuous improvement.
