Global Product Manager – Convenience
Location: Kings Hill, West Malling
About the Role
Westfalia Fruit is seeking a Global Product Manager to shape its convenience innovation strategy and lead the growth of a global product portfolio.
This role will focus on New Product Development (NPD) across a diverse range of categories, including:
- Guacamole
- Avocado products
- Mango
- Frozen fruit
- Oils
- Dried fruit
You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and regional teams to deliver high-quality products to market—efficiently and at pace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Support delivery of the convenience product strategy in alignment with commercial objectives.
- Apply consumer, customer, and market insights to develop compelling product concepts and briefs.

Product Development & Execution
- Partner with R&D and technical teams to steer products from concept to successful launch.
- Manage the NPD pipeline, ensuring deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
Process & Collaboration
- Coordinate stage-gate processes and support project prioritisation based on business needs.
- Work cross-functionally to drive product launches and optimise performance post-launch.
Risk & Portfolio Management
- Track project progress, identify risks, and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product decisions and optimisation strategies.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in Product Management or Product Development.
- Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with clear project/portfolio oversight.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimisation.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with attention to detail, ensuring execution excellence.
- Proactive hands-on. Must have a can-do mindset with a bias for action—ideal for fast-paced environments.
- Retain commercial agility to capitalise on evolving consumer trends and maintain product/brand relevance.

Desirable
- Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Food Technology.
- Fluency in secondary languages, such as Spanish, French or German.
