Role Purpose

The Responsible Sourcing Marketing Manager is a senior role with global accountability for marketing LRQA’s responsible sourcing portfolio. Operating independently, the postholder owns the marketing strategy, positioning and messaging for the portfolio – spanning responsible sourcing and social compliance assessments, supply chain due diligence and advisory, worker voice and human rights programmes – and is accountable for translating it into effective campaigns, tactics and the management of the associated budget. The role holder will set direction, make decisions and be measured on the commercial impact of responsible sourcing marketing on a global basis. Success depends on close partnership with responsible sourcing leadership, subject matter experts and the commercial team, working with them to shape compelling propositions and convert market opportunity into pipeline and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the global marketing strategy for LRQA’s responsible sourcing portfolio, taking full accountability for how the portfolio is taken to market and for the commercial outcomes that result.
  • Define the positioning and messaging for the responsible sourcing portfolio, translating complex assurance, advisory and data services into clear, differentiated propositions that resonate with target audiences and buyers across sectors and regions.
  • Plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns and tactics across the buyer journey, working with central marketing functions and regional teams to drive awareness, demand and pipeline for the responsible sourcing portfolio.
  • Develop a cohesive strategy across both LRQA and relevant acquired companies (existing and new), creating and implementing brand and marketing integration strategies where relevant.
  • Own and manage the responsible sourcing marketing budget, making independent decisions on allocation and prioritisation to maximise return on investment and demonstrable commercial value.
  • Act as the senior marketing partner to responsible sourcing leadership, subject matter experts and the commercial team, building strong relationships, aligning marketing activity with business priorities and sales objectives, and influencing at a senior level.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the responsible sourcing market, competitor activity, buyer needs and the evolving regulatory landscape – including forced labour, human rights and supply chain due diligence legislation – using this insight to keep LRQA’s positioning relevant, differentiated and commercially effective.
  • Direct the development of compelling content and sales enablement materials, working with subject matter experts to capture technical credibility while ensuring outputs are commercially focused and on-message.
  • Define the measurement framework for responsible sourcing marketing, setting clear KPIs, tracking performance against pipeline and revenue contribution, and reporting results and insight to senior stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Champion the responsible sourcing brand in the market, leveraging LRQA’s standards, accreditations and thought leadership to build credibility and reputation, and represent the portfolio’s marketing interests in wider business and marketing planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
