Global Sales Development Operations Senior Associate

Location: 100% remote (UK, Ireland, Germany, or the Netherlands) Contract Type: Full-time, remote

About the Role

As a Senior Associate in Global Sales Development Operations (SDO), you’ll bridge the gap between sales development teams and core technology, ensuring frictionless workflows, strong data governance, and seamless tool adoption. This role is pivotal in maintaining robust sales tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator), improving visibility and efficiency for our globally distributed teams.

  • Reports to: Director, Sales Development Operations
  • Focus areas: Tool performance, process optimisation, data integrity, training & adoption, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Stakeholders: SDO leadership, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), marketing partners, and localisation teams

Key Responsibilities

Tool & Process Optimisation

  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator configurations for peak performance.
  • Audit and optimise Outreach primary collections, refining data quality and messaging workflows.
  • Identify inconsistencies in sales ops tools and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Support system governance to ensure alignment between regional teams and global standards.

Data & Reporting

  • Resolve data quality issues impacting lead velocity and execution reliability.
  • Investigate root causes of bottlenecks and advocate for process changes to improve speed-to-lead.
  • Measure and refine automation and lead-gen motions for better business outcomes.

Training & Adoption

  • Design and deliver clear training materials (documentation, guides, workshops) to assist distributed teams.
  • Coach SDRs on toolset effectiveness, ensuring consistent execution across global regions.
  • Streamline onboarding processes to shorten ramp-up time for new teammates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with tech enablement, localisation, and sales leadership to evaluate inbound/outbound motions’ efficiency.
  • Synthesise feedback into playbook updates and process guides shared via GitLab/Git-based docs.
  • Work asynchronously with a global SDO team (spanning time zones), relying on documentation-driven execution.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience with modern sales/marketing tech stacks, including:
    • Outreach (direct process improvement roles required).
    • Salesforce configuration, reporting, or analytical experience.
    • ZoomInfo, Demandbase, or AI-enhanced LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong operational mindset: proficiency in analysing tool adoption rates, using metrics to drive corrections, and documenting workflows.
  • Data quality focus: Ability to identify discrepancies, clean datasets, and propose solutions (e.g., deduplication strategies).
  • Technical adaptability: Experience with GitLab/Git consolidation and version control (or transferable experience from similar systems).
  • Grow-your-own attitude: Completing training via GitLab’s Growth and Development Fund as needed (e.g., masterclasses, certifications).

  • Deepen visibility on global lead velocity and enablement.
  • Continuously improve workflows, metrics, and handoffs linking SDRs to sales teams.

  • Git root-documentation: All processes and rules of engagement publicised in collaborative repos.
  • Asynchronous collaboration ( spindlered PR reviews on internal wiki).
