Scope of the Role
Expeditors is searching for a hardworking, proactive Global Sales Executive, responsible for high-value business development in our larger, strategic accounts. This hybrid, results-driven role requires initiative, adaptability, leadership, and a natural ability to influencing stakeholders.
- Reports to: District Manager & Regional Vice President
- Key focus: Consistent new business growth by securing logos and revenue.
- Flexible & dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Objectives
- Manage a portfolio of Named Accounts and meet/exceed revenue targets for new business acquisition.
- Ensure timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Co-ordinate across the company to engage internal & external resources (Product, Service, Regional, Knowledge teams).

Relationship & Service-Delivery Tasks
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while adding value through tailored logistics solutions.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses and diagrams to aid decision-making.
- Facilitate the transition of new accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Occasionally assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) collection.
- Attend industry-specific training to sharpen sales expertise and deepen knowledge of our services.
Additional Responsibilities
- Stay updated on industry trends and supply chain forecasts.
- Agree to assignment flexibility to meet wider business demands.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in sales, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
- Right to Work in the UK (mandatory).
Core Competencies
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Exceptional interpersonal & relationship-building skills, with a confident, persuasive demeanour.
- Fluent communication in English (written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of supply chain concepts, including diagnosis, process mapping, and cost drivers.

- Proactivity & tenacity: Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment, with eded-by-accountability.
- Technical comfort: Experienced in laptop-based data entry and proficiency with CRM tools.
