Global Sales Trainer
International Sales & Commercial Operations Manager
Our client is a growing and highly innovative scientific and technology sector organisation, supplying specialist instrumentation and solutions to the nuclear, pharmaceutical, and research markets worldwide. This is a newly created leadership role, designed to support and develop international sales teams across the UK, Europe, and North America.

Your focus will be on driving accountability, consistency, and operational excellence across the wider commercial function. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional sales professionals, ensuring best practices in:
- Quoting processes
- CRM usage
- Forecasting
- Opportunity tracking
- Sales process management
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support international sales teams across the UK, France, Germany, and the US
- Drive consistency in:
- Sales processes
- Forecasting compliance
- CRM usage
- Customer engagement activities
- Lead regular one-to-one team meetings, performance reviews, and establish accountability frameworks for sales staff
- Support the development of structured commercial processes as the business scales globally
- Monitor:
- Pipeline activity
- Opportunity progression
- Team productivity

This role is for you if you have:
- Proven experience leading and managing sales or commercial teams
- Industry expertise in:

- Medical devices
- Life sciences

- Nuclear or technical industries
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to:
- Motivate teams
- Support international staff
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Operational and organisational leadership skills
- Comfort and adaptability in:
- A growing, evolving business environment
- Commutable to Sheffield and willing to work:
- Primarily office-based when not travelling
- Ready to travel domestically and internationally when required
