- Bottom-up stock selection across listed equities worldwide
- Sector-specific strategies

What You’ll Do
As a Global Sector Specialist for Communications Services, your responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary source of idea generation for team portfolios through:
- Bottom-up stock selection rooted in proprietary fundamental research
- Collaborating closely with in-house analysts, organised regionally by sector and based market-close
- Conducting company attribute analysis relative to global sector dynamics to identify undervalued equities with:
- Confirmed forward earnings growth exceeding market expectations
- Leading stock recommendations in research meetings, where Portfolio Managers select the highest-conviction stocks for inclusion
Note: While Global Sector Specialists drive decision-making insights, final responsibility for portfolio recommendations rests with the Portfolio Managers.
Requirements
Critical Knowledge & Experience
- Thorough grounding in:
- Fundamental stock analysis
- Financial modelling
- Growth-oriented stock selection
- Intuition and rigor in stock-picking, with a keen eye for detail
- A proven track record of alpha generation
Helpful Assets
- Industry exposure: Experience analysing stocks within the Communications Services sector
- In-depth understanding of earnings drivers across the sector and related industries (e.g., advertising, media, tech)
- Knowledge of equity markets and navigating varying market environments
- Professional qualifications such as:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Accountancy certifications or equivalent
