CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Global Security Consultant to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to join a global account team.
As a CBRE Global Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to the CBRE Global Security senior management team. This role involves overseeing regional project teams, integrating security solutions, ensuring technical excellence, and offering actionable insights and recommendations based on experience in the security industry. A core responsibility is to ensure clear, consistent communication with both CBRE and clients throughout every project lifecycle.
Effective communication is crucial for successful change initiatives. A key focus will be to maintain open communication with financial industry clients and T1/T2 teams throughout all change projects. As a CBRE change manager, this position involves overseeing security projects within FCP RCP, CTB (Change the Bank), and RTB (Run the bank frameworks). What You'll Do
- Manage multiple security deliveries concurrently across all regions, prioritizing tasks in agreement with the client.
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships to understand security needs and provide tailored security solutions.
- Oversee a project delivery team of subject matter experts to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Lead and implement security technology-related changes within the client domain for Corporate Security and Global Real Estate projects (small to medium scale).
- For RFPs, conduct security assessments of physical and technical security control suppliers, including access control systems, CCTV systems, and alarm systems.
- Implement security metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of security program delivery.
- Adhere to security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide security consulting services to clients, including security audits, penetration testing, and security awareness training.
- Work with clients to identify and prioritize security risks and develop strategies to address them.
- Operate as an expert consultant, capable of working autonomously on security technology initiatives as needed.
- Manage security incident response plans to ensure prompt and effective action for identified security project vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security awareness training for clients and their employees to promote security best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies, providing recommendations to clients for proactive security measures.
- Work effectively with other security professionals to share knowledge and best practices.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Security industry-recognized accreditation (e.g., CISM, MSyl) or similar.
- Project or program management qualification (e.g., PMI) or willingness to attain one.
- Membership in a Security industry organization (e.g., ASIS, Security Institute) or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- A willingness to explore new perspectives on existing solutions.
- In-depth technical knowledge of security solutions, principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong organizational abilities combined with a curious and analytical approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to travel to client sites within the region as required.
