Senior Project Leader - FM Security

This is a senior project leadership position within the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions FM Security team, accountable for delivering global medium to large-scale security projects across Facility Capital Planning (FCP), Change the Bank (CTB), and Run the Bank (RTB) programmes for a major financial services client.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the Global Security senior management team, providing delivery oversight across regional project teams, security integration, and technical excellence. Drawing on deep industry experience, you will translate complex security challenges into clear, structured delivery plans and provide the strategic recommendations that drive sound decision-making at senior level.

Communication sits at the heart of this role. You will be responsible for building and maintaining clear, consistent dialogue with both the client and Tier 1/Tier 2 delivery teams across every change initiative. The ability to engage effectively at all levels, from operational teams to executive stakeholders within a regulated financial services environment, is essential.

The right candidate brings the discipline to standardise delivery across a complex programme, the credibility to influence senior stakeholders, and the clarity of thinking to turn complexity into confidence.

What You will Do

  • Concurrently manage multiple security deliveries across all regions, applying priority-based decision-making aligned to client expectations and programme governance
  • Own end-to-end project plans for medium to large-scale Corporate Security and Global Real Estate projects, proactively resolving roadblocks and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Lead the delivery of security technology-driven change within the client environment, working without supervision across access control, CCTV, and alarm systems as required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, translating security requirements into tailored solutions delivered through regional teams of subject matter experts
  • Implement robust governance, assurance, and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility of programme performance to client and internal stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritise, and develop strategies to address security risks across the client estate, acting as a trusted advisor at senior level
  • Lead security assessments of physical and technical control suppliers as part of RFP processes, evaluating capability against client requirements
  • Ensure all project delivery activity complies with relevant security policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Share knowledge, technical insight, and best practice across the wider security community to raise delivery standards consistently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
