A fast-growing, founder-led premium skincare brand is looking for an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to lead and expand its retail partnerships across the UK and international markets.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business at a pivotal stage of its journey, working with leading prestige beauty retailers while helping shape the next phase of commercial expansion. The role will suit a commercially driven account leader who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is passionate about premium beauty, skincare and wellness.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of key retail relationships, driving revenue growth, profitability, brand visibility and long-term partnership success. You will work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Experience to ensure seamless delivery of commercial initiatives, product launches and activation plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture strategic partnerships with major retail customers, ensuring strong collaboration across buying, marketing, merchandising, digital and operational teams
- Create and execute annual joint business plans that support sustainable growth and deliver commercial objectives for both the brand and retail partners
- Conduct regular performance reviews, using market and account insights to recommend opportunities for growth and optimisation
- Manage commercial discussions relating to trading agreements, marketing investment, promotional activity and distribution opportunities
- Drive sales, margin and profitability targets across assigned retail accounts
- Monitor trading performance, inventory levels, forecasting accuracy and sales trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Evaluate category performance, retailer activity and competitive trends to support future growth strategies
- Deliver detailed trading analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Manage account budgets and investment plans, ensuring strong commercial returns
- Develop retail strategies that strengthen premium brand positioning while driving commercial performance
- Optimise product assortments using consumer behaviour, sales performance and market intelligence
- Increase visibility and presence within retail environments through improved distribution, space allocation and promotional activity
- Collaborate with retail partners on integrated marketing campaigns spanning stores, digital channels, CRM, sampling initiatives, events and retail media
- Work alongside internal marketing and education teams to support launches, campaigns and retailer training initiatives
- Assess campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve performance and customer engagement
- Identify and evaluate new retail opportunities across domestic and international markets
- Support retailer acquisition activities, including commercial business case development and launch planning
- Deliver accurate sales and demand forecasts in partnership with supply chain and finance teams
- Oversee all aspects of account administration, including product listings, new launches, promotional planning, pricing, forecasting and retailer systems
- Ensure deadlines, launch milestones and account processes are consistently delivered to a high standard
- Share customer, retailer and market insights that help inform broader commercial and product strategies
- Champion continuous improvement across retail performance, operational processes and ways of working

About You

- Proven experience within National Account Management or Key Account Management in premium beauty, skincare or FMCG
- Strong track record of managing major retail customers and developing long-term commercial partnerships
- Experience creating and executing successful joint business plans
- Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory planning, retail economics and commercial performance management
- Experience managing trade investment, promotional planning and launch execution
- Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills
- Highly confident presenting commercial information and influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Commercially minded, curious and solutions focused
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Resilient, adaptable and motivated by delivering results
