Global Senior Marketing Manager – Product & Supplier Marketing
Location: Leeds
Hybrid – 3 days office

Job Summary
We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Global Senior Marketing Manager to lead our product and supplier marketing strategy across key technology segments. The Senior Global Marketing Manager reports into the Global Director Product Marketing & element14 community and holds end-to-end responsibility for developing and leading the global supplier and product marketing strategy for selected product categories. This role moves beyond execution to drive strategic direction, support global product strategy, and strengthen engagement with priority suppliers, particularly focusing on new supplier additions and high-growth product segments.
The senior manager leads the creation of globally aligned go-to-market strategies, ensures cohesive regional implementation, and collaborates closely with Global Supplier Managers (GSMs) and Product Segment Leads (PSLs) to translate business priorities into impactful marketing programs. A key part of the role is accelerating supplier engagement across digital channels and the element14 Community, elevating Farnell’s position as the partner of choice for suppliers and engineers worldwide.

What will you be doing?
- Develop and lead global marketing strategies for key suppliers and product segments, aligned to business and product priorities
- Build compelling value propositions that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales growth
- Strengthen partnerships with key suppliers, supporting new supplier onboarding and early-stage go-to-market planning
- Deliver measurable commercial outcomes, including supplier marketing value and revenue contribution
- Lead the development of integrated, multi-channel campaigns in collaboration with global and regional teams
- Partner cross-functionally with Digital, eCommerce, Product, and Communications teams to ensure consistent and impactful execution
- Drive supplier engagement through innovative digital channels and the element14 Community
- Translate complex technical offerings into clear, compelling messaging for global audiences
What about you?
- Significant experience in Product Marketing, Supplier/Channel Marketing, or Technology Marketing
- Proven track record of developing and delivering global marketing strategies
- Experience of people management in a leadership role
- Strong expertise across digital marketing, content strategy, and eCommerce environments
- Experience engaging technical audiences or online communities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global and cross-functional teams
- Strong project management and prioritisation skills in complex, multi-region environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desirable:
- Experience within electronics, engineering, or technology sectors
- Understanding of community-led marketing and social engagement strategies
- Additional language skills relevant to global markets
