Role Title: Global Social Influencer Strategist, Unilever Personal Care (BG) Location: 100VE, London About Personal Care Personal Care is a highly successful business with much loved deodorant, skin cleansing and oral care brands including our 8 power brands Dove, Dove Men+ Care, Rexona, Lux, Axe, Lifebuoy, Pepsodent and Close-Up. Personal Care Brand Experiences Team The Brand Experiences team is a central team that leads Personal Care Marketing Transformation. The team partners with global brand teams and the Business Unit/Country marketing teams to design and deploy Social First Demand Generation – our ‘many-to-many’ marketing strategy. This includes culturally relevant partnerships, digital brand experiences, social, influencer and creator strategy and execution, plus a talent and technology powered content infrastructure (powering an “always active” content engine). As part of this the Social, Influencer and Media team aims to deliver an always-active stream of fresh, impactful social content at scale through the right social footprint. Shaping, defining, and delivering best-in-class social strategies for global brands. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes culture, platforms, and audience behaviour. You’ll work to build relevance, engagement, and fame through social-first thinking. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the business group influencer, creator and social commerce strategy that drives measurable impact (guidelines, processes and BG-wide policies). Develop and design the PC nano and affiliate creator programme with clear guidelines and frameworks that local markets can adapt. Analyse platform trends, audience behaviours, and cultural moments to uncover strategic opportunities for the Business Group in creator marketing and social commerce. Collaborate with global brands and market influencer specialists to define optimum strategy for their campaign and innovation launches. Deliver recaps and share learning across the business to ensure future influencer and creator work is optimized. Pilot new innovations and thinking, identify standout local work, create repeatable models and drive scale. Be responsible for onboarding and training new specialists and at times upskilling marketers to understand social commerce, influencer and creator marketing and how to deliver it effectively in their total brand marketing. Work with procurement and brands to maintain agency relationships and platform and partner relationships. Work with measurement teams to develop a clear methodology to measure key performance and brand metrics to enable a repeatable and consistent model. Work close with media and partnerships team to drive the influencer and creator marketing strategy for FIFA and other cultural tentpole moments. A “doer” with a social and commercial mindset who knows how to deliver tangible business results A collaborator who thrives on leading and working together with different teams and marketing specialities to execute best-in-class social strategies and plans with excellence and clarity Passionate about social culture, communities, and creators with a hunger to learn about LLM’s and the future of AI and next generation marketing The confidence to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment Key Skills Strategic thinking and planning. Excellent Senior Stakeholder management with proven experience within a large organisation, platform or large agency. Strong data analytical mindset and analytics understanding, with experience of social listening, analytics, and community management tools (e.g. Meltwater, Traackr, CreatorIQ, Brainsuite) Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Clear understanding of the requirements and demands of an international role. Strong influencing skills and strong proven networking abilities. Ability to work independently or with an agency. Team player. Keeps a balance between personal accountability and delivery through teamwork. You are required to be able to travel to the office a minimum of three days per week and their may at time be some international travel. Location In June 2020 we announced our plan to consolidate a number of Unilever’s offices across the South East of England into a new Unilever campus in Kingston-upon-Thames in or around early 2025. However, on the 08 August 2024 we announced to our existing staff our proposal to retain our central Head Office in London, 100 Victoria Embankment (“100VE”) until our lease expires in 2027. As a result of this new proposal, we will be consulting with our existing staff, and new joiners who join during this period of consultation at 100VE, on the proposal made in August 2024. During consultation we will clarify the future location of each team and function. This means your role will either be based in 100VE until 2027 or in Kingston-Upon-Thames from early 2025. As we are yet to commence consultation on the proposal you agree, until such a time when consultation has concluded, your normal place of work as set out in the enclosed Statement of Terms & Conditions will be 100VE. You agree that on the conclusion of the consultation your place of work will be 100VE or 100VE until early 2025 and then Kingston-upon-Thames ("the locations") and you will be notified of which of the locations will be your place of work after that consultation ends.
