Your Role
The Life Science Global Strategic Accounts Senior Director drives strategic customer success and long-term growth across key global strategic accounts. As a senior commercial leader, this role oversees a team of Global Strategic Account Directors and Managers while shaping the strategic direction, commercial performance, and customer engagement strategy for the Life Science account portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Life Science Global Strategic Accounts, you’ll lead within a global matrix—orchestrating alignment across regional commercial teams, franchises, and enterprise business partners to deliver differentiated customer outcomes, deepen executive relationships, and advance enterprise growth priorities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with global customers, from R&D through commercial manufacturing, to drive long-term strategic growth and partnership.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Serve as the strategic leadership interface between global customers and internal senior leadership, aligning priorities, mitigating risks, and accelerating growth opportunities.
- Define and ensure client satisfaction and engagement success as the escalation point for global and strategic issues.

Performace Accountability & Growth Execution
- Own global strategic account performance, including growth targets, revenue forecasting, and execution against strategic account plans.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams to execute customer growth initiatives while driving a differentiated customer experience.

Account Planning & Negotiation
- Provide leadership and support for strategic account planning, relationship mapping, governance, global contract negotiations, and pricing strategies.

Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Actively manage team performance, compliance, and professional development.
Who You Are
Core Experience & Skills

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a directly related discipline.

Industry & Leadership Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in the Life Science sector.
- 5+ years’ of people management experience, preferably leading international teams.

Strategic Account & Global Leadership
- Proven track record of leading high-performing global strategic account teams, including managing senior account leaders and cross-functional global teams within complex regions.
